What should I be posting about?

Put in your website. We'll read what you and your competitors publish, show you where the conversation is crowded, and point to the subjects nobody owns yet.

1

Your website

2

Your competitors (optional)

3

Who do you sell to? (optional)

We only read public pages, and we follow each website's rules for automated readers. Nothing is posted anywhere. Your read is kept for 30 days.

How it works

It's the first step we take when we read a category for a client: what is everyone saying, where does it all sound the same, and what's left that you could own.

Read

We read the public pages of each website: the homepage, the blog, news or insights pages, their feeds and the sitemap. Up to 40 of the latest titles from each.

Sort

Every title goes into one conversation, like "Cutting payroll errors". Company news, events and awards get a row of their own.

Find

A conversation where at most one competitor publishes is open. Your openings are the open ones that buyers care about and your own site gives you something to say about.

Every number is a count you can check

The numbers on the map are counts of real titles from each website, and the full read lists every one. The judgement is in which conversations matter and what you could say in them.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. You see the map and your biggest opening straight away. Add your work email to see all your openings, where it's crowded and how to stand out there, what each company leads with on its homepage, and every title we counted. You can run three reads a day.

What do you read?

Public pages on each website: the homepage, the blog, news or insights pages, their feeds and the sitemap. We take up to 40 of the latest titles from each. We follow each site's robots.txt, the file that tells automated readers what they may read, and we don't log in to anything.

Why doesn't it read LinkedIn or YouTube?

This tool reads websites. To see which of your posts and films your audience responds to on LinkedIn and YouTube, against these same competitors, ask us for a First Look.

How do you choose my competitors?

You can name up to four, as websites or names. If you leave it blank, Google's Gemini suggests the four companies your buyers most likely compare you with, from what your homepage says. If we've picked the wrong ones, run it again with your own list.

How does it work?

We read the websites ourselves. Google's Gemini then sorts every title into the conversations in your category. The counts on the map are counts of those titles, made by us, and the full read lists every one so you can check them.

How accurate is it?

It's a fast first read of what's on the websites. Some sites draw their articles with scripts we can't run. Then we read their sitemap, and those titles come from the page addresses. We say when we couldn't read a site. Treat it as a sharp starting point.

Do you keep what I enter?

We keep your read for 30 days so you can come back to it, then it's deleted. We only keep your email if you give it to us.
